The Structure of Real I.S. - Focus on Transparency and Farsightedness

Real I.S. AG is a wholly-owned strategic holding of Bayerische Landesbank (BayernLB). In line with the principles of German banking, competences in the company are subject to stringent functional segregation, i.e. the areas of Investment, Investors and Corporate Management are structured as independent units right up to the level of the Board of Management. Decisions on investments require unanimous approval by the Board of Management.

Upon the introduction of the German Investment Code (KAGB*), Real I.S. realigned itself as a fully regulated company. Both Real I.S. AG and Real I.S Investments GmbH hold licences as investment management companies (KVGs), meaning that the organisational units, processes and services are subject to regulation by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin*). The result for investors: attractive products managed by a reliable provider which is comparable with a securities firm.
