Cooperations and Memberships

Helping to shape the leading association of the real estate industry

The German Property Federation (ZIA) represents the interests of the entire real estate industry in terms of regulatory and economic policies. It promotes and supports appropriate measures to maintain and improve the economic, legal, tax and political environment of the real estate industry.

As a business association, ZIA gives its members, who are among the most important companies in their sector, a voice at national and European level – and in the Federation of German Industries (BDI). The Executive Committee, elected by the annual general meeting, is responsible for the overall management of the ZIA. From this, the Executive Board takes over the management of the association's business. Real I.S. is represented on ZIA's Executive Committee.

About the German Property Federation (ZIA)

ZIA is one of the most important associations in the industry. It views itself as the voice of the real estate industry. ZIA combines and comprehensively represents the interests of its members in the forming of public, political and administrative opinion.

ZIA member companies and associations represent the entire value chain of the real estate industry. Together with its members, including more than 25 associations, the ZIA represents around 37,000 companies in the industry.

The substantive work of the ZIA takes place in committees staffed by a total of around 500 experts from the member companies. The members meet regularly to work on forming opinions on real estate policy issues.
