Real Estate Trainee Program: Become a real estate professional in 18 months

Are you interested in what moves and shakes the real estate industry? Then our trainee program is your professional entry into the world of real estate! As a trainee, you will work in day-to-day business, take on your own projects in your preferred area and be involved in strategic and operational tasks. The real estate industry is our everyday business, which is why we are looking especially for employees with a business background – ideally with a focus on real estate or banking.

Are you a trained architect or did you study political science? Nothing is more important in today's rapidly changing working world than professional diversity. So, take heart and send us your application, even if you don't come from the traditional real estate or banking business. We are always looking for innovative and flexible employees who think differently from everyone else. This is precisely why you won’t only find real estate specialists at Real I.S. – we also have engineers, architects, psychologists, communication scientists, tax experts, mathematicians, business data processing specialists and IT experts.

To prepare for an interview, you should familiarize yourself with Real I.S. and the position for which you are applying.

The aim of our interviews is then to check together with you whether we are a good fit professionally, culturally and personally, and whether we can imagine a "future together". To find this out in the best possible way, it is important to us that both sides are able present themselves as authentically as possible. Our interviews can be demanding and challenging, but at the same time they are always appreciative and conducted on the basis of equals. We don’t believe in “grilling” or “squeezing” information out of applicants.

We would also like to give you an insight into the working world at Real I.S. So please feel free to think about questions you would like to ask us.

As a new team member, you will receive intensive training as part of our onboarding program. An HR contact person responsible for your department and a personal mentor from the department will support you in all matters relating to your employment relationship. This person will accompany you during your first weeks at Real I.S. so that you quickly get to know our company as well as your new team members.

Real I.S. is a subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank. Your start at Real I. S.

Real I.S consists of the most diverse specialist areas covering the real estate industry, combined with relevant staff and business areas. In addition to the market positions in real estate asset management, fund management, investment management and providing service for private and institutional clients, you can also support our team as a tax expert, researcher or IT specialist.

We are therefore always on the lookout for motivated and committed professionals and career changers for all our departments.

Real I.S. offers graduates orientation internships in various departments as well as junior positions as direct entry after graduation. If no relevant positions are advertised, we invite you to send us a speculative application for embarking on your career at Real I.S.

To the speculative application

We also recruit from our pool of former students. A previous cooperation during your studies can only work in your favor when considering a future career at Real I.S.

If you wish to complete your studies with a practical orientation, we will be happy to offer you cooperation opportunities for your thesis at your request. Simply contact us and let us know the topic you propose for your thesis. We will then coordinate with our departments to check whether we can work together and, if necessary, develop a suitable topic.

At the present point in time, we do not offer any dual study positions.

With a student job, you have the opportunity to work at Real I.S. for a longer period of time and thus to expand your professional network. The duration of the employment relationship itself is not limited and is essentially only linked to the length of your studies. Consequently, some of our students have already been working for us for several semesters.

Of course, your studies still come first. With flexible working time models and personal contact with our teams of experts from the real estate industry, you will be able to make the most of your studies and gain valuable experience for your professional future.

As a company operating both nationally and internationally, we offer our students various insights into the real estate business. In some departments, this includes cooperation with our foreign subsidiaries and operating facilities, which also enables our students to gain experience in international real estate management.

Real I.S. regularly offers students various working student jobs and internships. Upon request, completing student internships at Real I.S. and writing final dissertations in cooperation with our real estate experts are also possible.
